In today's episode of India Global, The United States has issued a fresh warning for Indian and foreign students in the country on a student visa. As per the latest announcement shared by the US Embassy in India, foreign students found skipping classes or dropping out of their courses may risk losing their visa. This latest warning follows a series of deportation crackdowns earlier this year, aimed at both students and undocumented immigrants. Just weeks ago, the embassy had also cautioned Indian immigrants against overstaying their visas, underlining the serious consequences of non-compliance. Meanwhile, the Trump administration is reportedly planning to cancel all remaining contracts with Harvard University, worth about $100 million. NDTV's Gaurie Dwivedi speaks with Executive Director, North American Association of Indian Students (NAAIS) Sudhanshu Kaushik to discuss this and more.
