Actress Deepika Padukone looked as stunning as she always does at the Hello! Hall Of Fame Awards in Mumbai on Sunday night but while her sleek Falguni And Shane Peacock gown was a hit, her equally sleek hairstyle wasn't. Deepika wore her plunge-fronted and belted white column dress with a hairdo she picks often - the severely-parted tight chignon that is designer Sabyasachi's trademark styling and that Deepika pairs with many of her outfits, both by Sabyasachi and not. Fans appear to have noticed how often she wears this hairdo and are now a little bored of it. "Please stop with this hairstyle already," read a comment on the picture Deepika's stylist Shaleena Naithani posted on Instagram, while another added: "Some hair change is highly requested."
Some even redirected their disappointment at the stylists - Deepika's hair was done by Gabriel Georgiou. "Stop sticking her hair with toffee pudding" said a comment while another read: "Why the same hair style in every event? Come on, she has a perfect hair type."
Deepika Padukone's beauty bona-fides appear to be in some doubt recently - while she's experimented with designers (Raw Mango, for one) and outfits (a 'not-saree' by Sabyasachi springs to mind), she's been playing it very safe with her hair, sticking (pun intended) to variants of the slicked back chignon look. From sarees to pant suits, we have curated a few ensembles seen on Deepika Padukone from the recent past. Take a look:
