This decision is particularly tied to the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. On April 22nd, around 2 pm, terror struck near the Baisaran meadow, a popular tourist spot in Pahalgam. The attack has since shaken the nation. The situation remains tense along the Line of Control, with security forces ramping up anti-terror operations in Kashmir. In response, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed that India would not rest until justice is served, issuing a stern warning to pursue the terrorists 'to the ends of the earth.'
