Nusraat Faria | Bangaldeshi Actor Nusraat Faria, Who Played Sheikh Hasina Arrested In A Murder Case Bangladeshi actor Nusrat Faria, who was arrested on Sunday, will stay in jail as she has been sent to judicial custody by a local court in Bangladesh's capital, Dhaka after the actor was produced in court this morning amidst tight security. Nusrat Faria's lawyer has moved the court for bail and the court will hear the bail application on May 22. Nusrat Faria was arrested at Dhaka's Shahjahanlal International Airport and the actor is well known for playing Former Bangladeshi PM Sheikh Hasina in the film on Sheikh Mujibur Rehman, "Mujib The Making of a Nation, which is a biopic directed by veteran film maker Shyam Benegal. The actor was detained in connection with a case registered at the Vatara Police Station in Dhaka which relates to an alleged attempted murder case in which Faria was booked along with several others.
