This Weekend, Pamper Yourself In 4 Relaxing Ways
Make me-time your priority this weekend

The weekend is here and you know what means, right? A much-needed break from the daily routine and a chance to rejuvenate your mind, body and soul. A great way to do that is with a wonderful pamper session for which, we've got a few ideas. These 4 ways will help you indulge in some self-love and give you the relaxing me-time you deserve.

1. Get Steamy

But not in the way you think. Hit a sauna or steam room when you get an hour or two for yourself. The thought of sweating it out may seem icky but in fact, is great for you. Not only does a good steam session open your pores, it also flushes out toxins while keeping in tune with the body's natural processes.

2. Soak Up

If you're lucky enough to have a bath tub to yourself, turn the lights down low, add in a bath bomb, light a few scented candles and soak in the tub with a good book. You can also pamper yourself without a tub - just add a hair mask before you shower, do a foot soak after and don't forget the candles during.

3. Massage It Out

Absolutely no treatment is as relaxing as a massage. This weekend, head to a spa for a back, neck and shoulder rub that will knead out any knots. You can also head to a beauty parlour for a hot oil head rub and foot massage for a quicker version with similarly relaxing results.

4. Go Home

Self-love doesn't always mean spending big bucks at a fancy spa. You could also recreate a similar feeling right in the comfort of your house. Draw the blinds, put on a playlist of instrumental music, brew yourself a cup of tea, slap on a face mask with under eye patches and soak your feet in a hot foot bath. Told you that me-time didn't need to lighten your wallet.
