Wear Your Sparkles Strategically
There is no doubt that we all love a little sparkle to welcome the new year with a bang. But don't go overboard with it. Head-to-toe sequins are not going to make the photo pop, it will just overwhelm it. If you want to make a statement among your sparkly friends, add a textured fabric or a metallic colour. It'll give the picture more depth and character.
Know Your Colour
Some colours always look better on camera than others. Keep away from patterns or stripes for a picture. A solid colour will add depth and not make you look washed out. Try embracing primary colours, deep reds, turquoise and anything else that'll make you stand out in a photo. If you prefer neutral shades, go with grey.
