On her latest post on Instagram, Shilpa Shetty shared about her daily morning routine of yoga, which gives her "strength and energy to tackle with the worst". She further wrote, "Yoga has the power to instill calm and positivity in one's being, the weather made it even more conducive. Today's practice was Utkatasana and Ek Pada Utkatasana; while getting some much-needed fresh air. Swirlster Picks Workout Gear For Yoga

Fitness experts always encourage people to try various kinds of workouts to challenge the body and stay motivated. It seems Shilpa Shetty follows the same principle, as we see her trying out different kinds of exercises every now and then. Shilpa recently shared a post on National Sports Day, where you can see her trying archery. She wrote, "A child's mind and body are like wet clay. So, I believe it is imperative that we introduce our kids to as many sporting activities as is possible...".

A child's mind and body are like wet clay. So, I believe it is imperative that we introduce our kids to as many sporting activities as is possible. It helps inculcate sportsman spirit, a sense of healthy competition, ample physical activity, and is a good way to build an appetite. Also, once they take a liking to a sport and develop the habit of experimenting with other sporting activities, it helps them stay active well into their adulthood too. But, kids learn best when they see us doing what we ask them to do. So, back in those days when outdoor activities were a part of our lives, I decided to learn a new sport, archery on a trip... (never too old to learn) not bad for a beginner, must say As our Fit India Movement completes a successful year today on National Sports Day, I would like to encourage parents to encourage not just the little ones to learn something new, but even themselves... regularly. Want to find your balance? Take inspiration from Shilpa Shetty and try yoga so that you don't lose balance in these unsettling times. "There's so much uncertainty in life at this point that we need to be able to center ourselves to function normal," wrote Shilpa on another Instagram post.

One can lose balance in these unsettling times. There's so much uncertainty in life at this point that we need to be able to center ourselves to function normally. Today, I chose to do the Eka Pada Malasana - ‘Mala' means ‘Waste Removal'. It is a challenging pose, for which one first needs to align their mind and body. You will need to stay calm and composed removing all the unwanted (waste) thoughts from your mind, to achieve the correct posture. What I love about this asana is that it truly helps improve balance and focus. It also works on strengthening the quadriceps, hip flexors, and core. Now, I am all set for whatever the day has to offer. Trying to nail pull-ups? Here's how Shilpa Shetty does it.

The world around us is gradually opening up and we're all gearing up to get ‘back' to our lives. So, today's workout was dedicated to strengthening the back muscles and enhancing the upper body strength. But, it's always good to be safe than to be sorry. So, I tried the ‘assisted band pull-ups' to ease into the flow. It helps you to gradually build your back muscles and further helps you achieve pull-ups without any other assistance. Additionally, it strengthens & tones the back muscles and improves form. I would suggest you to start slow and ensure professional supervision, if you're doing this for the first time.
