Ivanka Trump, US President Donald Trump's daughter and informal advisor to the White house, is in Hyderabad, India for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017. The summit is co-hosted by India and the US and is being held from 28th to the 30th of November. In attendance at the summit along with her is our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While her speeches on recognition of women entrepreneurs have been creating a lot of waves, her dresses have not made an impression yet.
She arrived in the city of pearls, in an embellished black Tory Burch jacket. There's no doubt that she looks quite stylish here, but wait till you see what she wore for the summit.

Though we can give her some credit for attempting to wear a dress that seems to be inspired by Indian textiles, it does nothing for her. With black pointed mules and wavy hair, this Erdem midi dress looks unflattering on her. And may we add, Twitter didn't cut her any slack.
For a dinner hosted by our PM Narendra Modi at the Falaknuma Palace, she wore another Tory Burch design. Here, we must say, she did justice to her chic self. She arrived at the palace in a royal blue gown with heavily sequined embroidery and her hair styled in a bun.

For Day 2 at the summit, the first daughter wore a red midi dress with some lace inserts on her sleeves by Saloni Lodha. She paired the dress with a pair of black pointed mules. (Have we seen these before? We may have.) This dress looks so much better than the emerald green one, but we really wish she would have worn something a tad bit more formal.
For her visit to the Golconda fort, Ivanka couldn't help but twirl in a Biyan, a floral dress with a side slit and a pair of white cat-eye sunglasses and velvet ballet flats. We aren't sure, if this was an appropriate choice of outfit for a fort visit. While we were hoping to see her in a monochrome outfit, this wasn't what we had in mind.
All in all, her looks so far have been quite disappointing. Let's see how she looks at the upcoming events. Stay tuned.
