The Pic Of Rajinikanth And Nana Patekar That's Gone Viral

New Delhi: Megastar Rajinikanth and veteran actor Nana Patekar share screen space in Pa Ranjith's upcoming film Kaala Karikaalan. As if this was not enough. A picture featuring the two actors, reportedly from the sets of the film, is being shared on social media and has sent the Internet into a meltdown. Twitter is also absolutely delighted. "So much happiness in this legendary picture," read a tweet. Rajinikanth fans are also looking forward to witness the face-off between Rajinikanth and Nana Patekar, reveals Twitter. Mr Patekar features as a powerful politician in the much awaited gangster drama, which stars Rajinikanth in the titular role.

Nana Patekar joined the film's cast last month, when Rajinikanth was already shooting for the film in Mumbai. Details of the Ab Tak Chhappan star's role described him as "conniving" and "ruthless." "Nana Patekar plays a conniving, ruthless politician and he takes Rajinikanth head on. It's a very powerful role and audiences are going to love the face-off between him and Rajini sir," a source close to the film's unit told IANS.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has flown out to the US with his elder daughter Aishwaryaa for routine medical check-up. Having wrapped his Mumbai schedule of Kaala Karikaalan earlier this month, he had returned to Chennai. The rest of his cast and crew are expected to finish shooting today in Mumbai.

Next stop for Team Kaala Karikaalan is Chennai, where an exclusive Dharavi-like set has been created for the movie. Rajinikanth will join the sets in Chennai in July.
