Priyanka Chopra Flies New York To Mumbai, Reverse Of Stars Going To IIFA

New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra returned to India from New York on Thursday afternoon. The actress, who will soon be celebrating her 36th birthday, was welcomed by fans and the paparazzi at the Mumbai airport. Priyanka looked pretty in a floral dress and a denim jacket. Last night, she updated about her itinerary on social media with a selfie. "Summer sun calling #mumbaibound #mumbaimerijaan #birthdaytime," the Baywatch star captioned her post. While most of the Bollywood celebrities are in New York for the IIFA awards, Priyanka will give it a miss and plans to spend time with her family and friends. "Vacaaaaaayyyy mode.. when everything is balanced. Nothing needs to move.. and it's ok.. nice," she wrote on Twitter. She will be celebrating her birthday on July 18.

Meanwhile, Priyanka, who debuted in Hollywood with this year's Baywatch, has two other projects in the pipeline. Recently, she was spotted on the sets of Isn't It Romantic, her third Hollywood film. In the film, she co-stars with Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine and Liam Hemsworth. Priyanka is also part of American television show Quantico.

Priyanka's last Hindi film was Prakash Jha's Jai Gangaajal, which released in 2016. As per reports, she has signed Gustakhiyan, a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. In the film, Priyanka will play writer-poetess Amrita Pritam. She has earlier worked with Mr Bhansali in 2015's Bajirao Mastani, co-starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Priyanka's Ventilator, her first film as a producer, won three National Awards this year.
