The amount accrued on account of Tax Deducted At Source was deducted from Mr Sharma's salary but not deposited with the Income Tax Department by the accused, Mr Sharma alleged adding this amounted to cheating.
Agreeing with the complainant, the Chief Judicial Magistrate Nupur ordered the police to register a case of cheating.
