When Amitabh Bachchan Took Sridevi For Her First Concert (Also Salman, Aamir)

New Delhi: Like we always say, Amitabh Bachchan never fails to delight with his throwback posts. He started the week off with a trip down the memory lane... all the way down to 1990. On Instagram, he shared a picture which is a snip from a slightly worn out photograph, starring himself and Sridevi. Big B said the photo was clicked in London's Wembley Stadium, where they were for their first concert together and also Sridevi's debut at a concert. If you look closely, you can probably identify a much younger Aamir Khan (almost cropped out of the photo) on the left side. Salman Khan was there too and Big B said it was the first time Salman, and Aamir were attending a concert. Neelam Kothari also features in the photo.

Remember Jumma Chumma De De from Hum? Yeah, we still dance to the Amitabh Bachchan chart-buster. Big B's throwback post makes an interesting reference to it. The megastar said even before the movie Hum released, he performed to the song at the London concert and in tow was Sridevi. Salman was just one film old and Aamir had quite a few films on his resume already.

Amitabh Bahchan's caption has a better explanation: "1990... Wembley Stadium LONDON... my stage Concert after initiating Actor participating Concerts , in the Industry in the year 1983 .. Took along Sridevi, AAMIR, and SALMAN for their first Concert ever .. SALMAN had his first release then 'Maine pyaar Kiya ' and Aamir was a couple of films old .. The show titled "the Jumma Chumma Show" .. performed the song Jumma Chumma with Sridevi even before the song and film had released ..!! Incredible moment .. (sic)." Later in his career, Amitabh Bachchan has co-starred with all three of his concert partners.

Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi featured in Inquilaab and have also shared screen space in 1986's Aakhree Raasta. The two superstars have famously co-starred in Khuda Gawah. Amitabh Bachchan's first film with Aamir Khan will be the upcoming Thugs Of Hindostan, which is currently being made and also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. With Salman, Big B has films like Baabul, Baghban and God Tussi Great Ho.
