Sridevi Takes MOM To Moscow. Pics From Premiere

New Delhi: Sridevi landed in Moscow over the weekend for the premiere of her film MOM. Sridevi's entourage includes her filmmaker husband Boney Kapoor (who produced the film) and her younger daughter Khushi. Sridevi's elder daughter Janhvi is currently busy filming her Bollywood debut Dhadak. MOM recently premiered in the Russian capital and the premiere was headlined by Sridevi, who arrived with Boney Kapoor. Sridevi walked the red carpet at the film's premiere in Moscow, in a beautiful ensemble from the studios of designer Faraz Manan. Sridevi also addressed the Russian audience at the premiere, and signed many autographs - as can be seen in the photos shared on social media.

Sridevi's MOM released across theatres in India on July 7 and garnered great reviews both from audience and critics alike. In his review for NDTV, Saibal Chatterjee wrote: "Sridevi, magnificently expressive as the titular figure, is a treat to watch. She seems to make every one of the 50 years that she has spent before the movie camera count in this virtuoso performance."

Sridevi plays the only protagonist in MOM, which is her second women-centric Bollywood movie in a row. Before MOM, she was seen in Gauri Shinde's 2012 movie English Vinglish. In between the two, Sridevi starred in Tamil fantasy drama Puli.

Directed by Ravi Udyawar, MOM is the story of a mother who is determined to avenge the wrong her daughter was subjected to. The movie also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna in key roles.
