Secret Superstar Box Office Collection Day 4: Aamir Khan, Zaira Wasim's Film Makes Over 30 Crores

New Delhi: Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim's Secret Superstar has completed four full days of stay at the theatres and managed to score over Rs 30 crores at the box office. The singing drama released on Thursday was soon joined by Rohit Shetty-directed Golmaal Again, which has set the box office on fire. Aamir's new film has fetched decent figures in its clash with the new Golmaal movie, tweeted trade analyst Taran Adarsh. "Secret Superstar withstood a strong opponent and posted HEALTHY figures in its opening weekend," he tweeted on Monday. He also provided a day-wise break-up of the film's ticket sales: "Thu 4.80 cr, Fri 9.30 cr, Sat 8.71 cr, Sun 8.50 cr."

Secret Superstar's box office score is currently at Rs 31.31 crores and counting.

With two big releases last week, the box office had a blockbuster weekend, Mr Adarsh wrote in one of his posts: "Diwali weekend has brought abundant cheer and spread sunshine... But real test for Golmaal Again and Secret Superstar begins today." Will the two films continue to perform well through the week? Only numbers will tell, says Mr Adarsh's prediction.

Aamir Khan stars as a Bollywood music producer while Zaira Wasim plays the titular protagonist in Secret Superstar. In his review for NDTV, Raja Sen, who has assigned three and a half stars to the movie, writes: "Aamir Khan has a blast in this sweet and simple film about a young girl who dares to dream."

Secret Superstar is Advait Chandan's first movie as a director.
