Priyanka Chopra, Voted Sexiest Asian Woman, Thanks Parents And Genes In Adorable Tweet

New Delhi: Congratulations, Priyanka Chopra. The actress has topped the list of 50 Sexiest Asian Women 2017 and this year marks her fifth time on the top spot on the list, which is taken out annually by Eastern Eye. Priyanka has beaten her Bajirao Mastani co-star Deepika Padukone in the voted survey - Deepika takes the third spot on the list while actresses Alia Bhatt and Mahira Khan feature on fourth and fifth spots respectively. Model and television actress Nia Sharma gets the second spot while Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon actress Drashti Dhami ranks sixth. The rest of the names will be released on Friday along with the full list.

Priyanka may have a very busy schedule but she does have time to acknowledge the recognition and the whole lot of love she gets. Voted the sexiest Asian woman for the fifth time, she just had to thank her parents for passing on the '"sexiest" genes. "I should thank my mom and dad for this award...lol! It's purely their genetics and also the immense love you guys give me every single time which has put me on top of the list 5 times over. Thank you @EasternEye... you do know how to flatter a girl," she tweeted on Thursday.

Priyanka's mom Madhu Chopra is part of the actress' production house Purple Pebble Pictures and helps Priyanka with her busy roster as her manager. Priyanka Chopra's father Doctor Ashok Chopra died in 2013 after a battle with cancer.

Featuring on this list qualifies as just a tiny part of Priyanka's achievements. She has recently been listed by Forbes on the List Of 100 Most Powerful Women - she took the 15th spot on the list of Most Powerful Women In Entertainment And Media. Priyanka has won the People's Choice Awards twice for her popular US TV series Quantico, in which she stars as FBI recruit-turned-CIA agent Alex Parrish. She is currently in New York to shoot for the third season of the show, which is expected to premiere next year.

Priyanka Chopra made her Hollywood debut with Baywatch and has two more international movies in the pipeline - A Kid Like Jake and Isn't It Romantic.
