London-based renowned NRI economist Lord Meghnad Desai has made his silver screen debut with a cameo in the Sharmila Tagore-Soha Ali Khan starrer British film Life Goes On.

"The scene is about a debate among friends oncommunalism, partition and prejudice against Islam. He wasvery happy to do the balancing act and discuss how the Hinduswere not the only ones who suffered. There were Muslims amongthe victims too," Datta said.
