Kapil Sharma And A Firangi In Film's First Poster

New Delhi: Kapil Sharma returns to the big screen with his second Hindi film Firangi. The first poster of the film was unveiled today. It features Kapil dressed as a sepoy and he kicks off a 'firangi' out from the frame (much like what he did in the motion poster). The poster was shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who wrote, "And here's the first look poster of Kapil Sharma's Firangi." The comedy film is set during India's independence movement. Firangi is directed by Rajiev Dhingra, who was also the creative director of the actor's television series The Kapil Sharma Show. Actresses Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill also form the cast of Firangi.

Firangi is produced by Kapil Sharma under his production house K9 Films.

Iranian-Swedish actress Maryam Zakaria, who featured along with Kareena Kapoor in the hit song Dil Mera Muft Ka from the 2012 film Agent Vinod, has a special dance sequence in Kapil Sharma's Firangi, reported news agency IANS. "It feels great to be part of Firangi movie. I have done a special dance song with my favourite Kapil Sharma. This song is very special for me as after my Grand Masti movie, I am back on the screen with a very big song," she said.

Kapil Sharma featured as a host in the popular TV show The Kapil Sharma Show and Comedy Nights With Kapil. He made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon.
