Inside Amitabh Bachchan's Birthday Celebration In Maldives

New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan's birthday celebrations are in full swing, reportedly in Maldives. The Bachchans took off to spend Mr Bachchan's 75th birthday away from the hullaballoo of Mumbai on October 10. Since then, there have been only two updates from the family, courtesy Abhishek Bachchan. The first was while they were en route to the destination and the second update came two hours before Big B's birthday ended. Abhishek instagrammed a picture of Mr Bachchan looking at a lit-up signage which read 'Happy Birthday' and captioned it: "75 and still stylin'!!! Happy birthday Pa." On Tuesday morning, Amitabh Bachchan, his son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai and granddaughter Aaradhya were photographed at the Mumbai airport. Mr Bachchan's daughter Shweta and her daughter Navya Naveli joined them in Maldives. According to a mid-day source, Abhishek, Aishwarya and Shweta arranged a special midnight bash to ring in Big B's birthday. "The three had meticulously planned every detail. They rang in the birthday at their private beach with crackers and a huge cake. They plan to indulge in a variety of water sports from jet skiing to sailing. A yacht party is also in the cards," the source said.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is filming for Yash Raj Films. On Mr Bachchan's birthday filmmaker Karan Johar also announced the name of Big B's next film with Dharma Productions, which is called Brahmastra. The film will be directed by Ayan Mukehrji and also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Mr Bachchan is also awaiting the releasing of 102 Not Out, co-stars Rishi Kapoor.
