Guess Who Plays Sanjay Dutt's Mother In Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3?

New Delhi: Veteran actress Nafisa Ali has been roped in by filmmaker Tigmashu Dhulia for the third installment of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster series, which stars Sanjay Dutt in lead role. The 60-year-old actress expressed her excitement in a post on Twitter and thanked the director for seeing the 'potential' in her. "Am excited to be playing Royalty. As the cast are old friends -shooting outdoor amazing-Tigmanshu you saw the potential in me so I am happy," tweeted Nafisa Ali along with three pictures, two of which featured her and one featured an article from a newspaper. Nafisa Ali will be seen portraying the role of Sanjay Dutt's mother in the film. Of her role, she tweeted, "Being a mother is such an important role... Look forward to shooting for director Tigmanshu Dhulia in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster franchise."

Kabir Bedi, who is known for his role in films like Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story, Khoon Bhari Maang and 1983 James Bond film Octopussy, will reportedly portray the role of Sanjay Dutt's father in the third installment of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster films.

This film will mark Kabir Bedi's second collaboration with Sanjay Dutt. They have previously worked together in 1992 film Yalgaar.

The first two installments of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster films were directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and starred Jimmy Shergill and Mahi Gill in lead roles. The previous films from the series are - Saheb, Biwi aur Gangster, which released in 2011 and Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns which hit the theatres in 2013.

Nafisa Ali is known for her role in films like Junoon (1979), Major Saab with Amitabh Bachchan (1998), Life In A... Metro (2007) and Yamla Pagla Deewana 2010.

Nafisa Ali is an activist for AIDS awareness and women's rights.
