For Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya's Wedding Is Not The Only 'Special' October Event

New Delhi: We are pretty excited to see actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu as a bride, aren't you? And, so is Nagarjuna, the superstar father of the groom-to-be. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya will fly off to Goa for a destination wedding, scheduled for October 6 and October 8. The first will be a Hindu wedding, followed by a Christian one. However, the big fat family wedding is not the only reason that makes October "special" for the veteran actor. His next movie Raju Gari Gadhi 2, which also stars Samantha, also releases this Diwali. "This is a very special month for me," news agency IANS quoted Nagarjuna as saying.

Talking about the much awaited wedding, Nagarjuna revealed that it will be a close-knit affair. "My son is getting married and our families can't be happier. It's going to be a very simple wedding with just about 100 guests. The first ceremony will take place on Friday and the second one on Saturday." However, it is being reported that the wedding in Goa is going to be a lavish one with a budget of Rs 10 crores.

Of the couple's post wedding plans, Nagarjuna said a reception in Hyderabad is being planned in accordance with Samantha and Naga Chaitanya's work schedules. "Both of them will be busy with their film commitments even after the wedding. As per their convenience, we will finalise the date for reception and announce soon," IANS quoted him as saying.

Shifting his focus to Raju Gari Gadhi 2, in which Nagarjuna plays a mind-reader of sorts and Samantha features as a ghost, the actor told IANS: "People thought I wanted her (Samantha) to be cast. That's not true. I didn't recommend her. In fact, I didn't want to see her play a ghost right before marriage."

Directed by Ohmkar Raju Gari Gadhi 2 is set to hit screens on October 13.
