Anushka Sharma's Family Returns To Mumbai After Big Fat Italian Wedding

New Delhi: Folks from Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's baraat at the Italy wedding have started making their way back home. Anushka Sharma's family - her parents and brother Karnesh Sharma - touched down in Mumbai during the wee hours of Thursday and were greeted by the paparazzi. On December 11, Anushka and cricketer Virat Kohli had a destination wedding in Italy and had a strictly hand-picked guest list comprising just close friends and family. After denying wedding rumours for months, the couple finally announced the big news on Twitter with photos from their much anticipated wedding. Anushka's parents and brother Karnesh also feature in few of the wedding photos shared by fan clubs on social media.
 
Now, the Sharma trio are back in Mumbai. When will Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli touch down in Mumbai? Ahead of the wedding, Anushka and her family were spotted at the Mumbai airport with heavy luggage and in tow was a person, who looked a lot like a priest the couple were photographed with last year while on holiday in Uttarakhand. Anushka's rep was still denying wedding rumours at that time.
 

Anushka and Virat had a non-filmy but dreamy wedding at a vintage resort tucked away somewhere in the countryside of Tuscany. Anushka and Virat had their mehendi and haldi ceremonies at the venue, and also an engagement party. It is reportedly Yash Raj Films boss Aditya Chopra, who suggested the couple a destination wedding in Italy.

After they return from Italy, the newly married couple will shift into a sea-facing apartment in Mumbai's Worli, which Virat had bought earlier. They will host two reception ceremonies this month - one in New Delhi, which is scheduled for December 21 and the other one in Mumbai, scheduled for December 26. The couple will then fly off to South Africa - while Virat will stay on to play a series, Anushka will return to her work commitments in Mumbai.
