New Delhi:
A 25-year-old dentist allegedly committed suicide in her south Delhi residence on Wednesday morning after a fight with her husband.
The incident was reported from Greater Kailash-I and the deceased has been identified as Teena Gogna, a qualified dentist. Her husband Vivek Gogna deals in hair and beauty products, police said.
Vivek had rushed Teena to a nearby hospital after she allegedly hanged herself in their house.
"Vivek told us that she was under depression and used to take medicines. They used to have arguments often and that morning also, there was a fight. She then locked herself in the room and hanged herself," a senior police official said.
After she did not open the door, the official said, Vivek sought the help of some others and broke open the door only to find his wife hanging.
She was rushed to the hospital where she was declared brought dead.
Her parents have been informed and an inquiry by Sub Divisional Magistrate has been ordered.
