However, a constant demand from the buyers remained for a larger battery pack to keep the range anxiety and charging woes at bay. And the big news is - MG Windsor Pro (Read: Larger battery pack) is launching tomorrow to take on its key rivals - Tata Curvv EV and Hyundai Creta Electric. In all likelihood, it could just outpace other EVs with more range coming to the table. Well, here's everything that's new on the MG Windsor EV Pro.
MG Windsor EV Pro: Increased Range
Yes, it is confirmed! The MG Windsor EV Pro will get a larger 52.9 kWh battery pack. While MG hasn't revealed the official claimed figures for the range, we have range tested the MG Windsor EV with its 38 kWh battery pack. It gave us a mileage of 62. km/kWh. With the larger 52.9 kWh battery pack in place, it is safe to expect a real-world range of around 350 kms in city usage.

MG Windor Pro: Design
Talking about the things that remain the same, the MG Windsor EV will have the same appearance. There will be a few changes, like a new paint scheme option and a new Pro badge. Also, the design for the alloy wheels on the Pro variants will be different from the outgoing model.

MG Windsor Pro: More Features
Big changes are limited to the cabin space. It will feature dual-tone interiors sporting a combination of black and brown with a wooden texture. This will be complemented by upgraded safety with the presence of ADAS features. These will work with a combination of sensors and cameras. The car will also offer a vehicle-to-load feature, which means the vehicle's power can be used to power other devices. There will also be a few extra convenience features.
