Maruti Suzuki is now gearing up for the launch of e Vitara in India. The electric car has been spotted testing around the country, and a few units have also started reaching the dealerships. However, it is now that the brand has patented the design of the e Vitara. It is to be noted that the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will be manufactured in India and will be up for sale in the global market after its launch in September 2025.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara: Exterior Design

The Maruti Suzuki has added several elements that distinguish it from the Grand Vitara. The e Vitara gets a rugged bumper and sculpted bonnet with prominent grooves as a highlight. The sporty alloy wheels carry polygonal wheel arches and thick body cladding. The e Vitara was displayed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and suggests that it gets traditional door handles in the front and a C-pillar at the rear.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara: Interior

On the inside, the electric SUV has a dual-tone interior with Brown and Black colors. Diving into the details, the new two-spoke steering wheel. Looking at the side of tech, the electric vehicle gets a 10.1-inch infotainment screen and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster. Along with this, the brand has added leatherette upholstery and a fixed glass roof.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara: Battery, Powertrain

The E Vitara will come with two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery options: a 49 kWh battery for the base model with a single-motor layout and a 61 kWh battery for higher variants, available with FWD and 4WD layouts. The 49 kWh model offers a range of up to 346 kilometers, while the 61 kWh model provides up to 428 kilometers, both based on the WLTP cycle. These figures apply to single-motor, two-wheel-drive versions. In international markets, a dual-motor 61 kW variant is available with a range of up to 412 kilometers, but it won't be available in the Indian market.
