Sikkim's 50 Years Of Statehood |How Sikkim Has Transformed, CM Prem Singh Tamang Reveals | Exclusive On 16th May 1975 Sikkim became an Indian state amd this year the state is celebrating 50 years of statehood. The turning point of 1975 is significant from five crucial perspectives, which includes, integration with India, realisation and fulfilment of democratic aspirations, remarkable developmental transformation, strategic and national security contribution and lastly global recognition for its unique mountain identity, conserved through peace, tranquility and traditional approaches.
