Life Goes On As Usual In Punjab Border Village Despite India-Pakistan Tensions
For the people of Neshta village, near Amritsar on the Pakistan border, life is going on as usual. Despite the sharp deterioration in relations between the two neighbours following the terrorist attack near Pahalgam town in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, villagers here say that everything remains normal in their village. They add that that they have just finished harvesting their wheat crop, and that uncertainties along the border are nothing new to them.
