These emotional scenes unfolded on Thursday at the Attari-Wagah border between India and Pakistan after authorities completely shut it down. Nabila Raj, an Indian citizen married to a Pakistani man had received her visa from the Pakistan embassy only a day earlier. She was told that Thursday would be the last day when she would be allowed to cross over to Pakistan along with her children to unite with her husband. However, on Thursday, she found herself stranded along with many others at the international border in Attari near Amritsar.
