Chinese Mouthpiece Global Times, TRT World, Xinhua' X Account Blocked | The World Report

India has blocked the X platform accounts of Global Times and Xinhua news agency, Chinese state-run media outlets, as well as Turkish public broadcaster TRT World. This is over "disinformation" concerns regarding Operation Sindoor, the counter-terrorist operation conducted by the army targeting cross-border terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The move followed a public rebuke issued by the Indian Embassy in Beijing earlier this week, warning Global Times over its coverage of the military operation.
