Canada Elections 2025 | Polls Show Dramatic Shifts In Canada’s Election

Poll results in Canada's federal general election have dramatically shifted over the past few months, with the Liberal Party regaining ground against the Conservatives amid a backdrop of economic uncertainty and heightened tensions with the United States, according to latest surveys. The official election day will fall on April 28. Around 7.3 million electors voted on the four advance polling days, according to Elections Canada on Tuesday. At the start of the year, Conservatives, led by Pierre Poilievre, had a lead of more than twenty points in the polls. But the Liberal Party, after Mark Carney replaced Justin Trudeau as leader amid the U.S. trade dispute, now looks set to win, though latest polls do show the race tightening.
