Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan To Address Farmers' Concerns Over Indus Water Treaty Suspension
Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will meet a group of farmers from the North Indian states of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi and Western Uttar Pradesh to discuss the benefits of keeping the Indus Water Treaty (IWT) with Pakistan in abeyance.
According to sources, Chouhan will apprise the farmers of how the decision to keep the IWT in abeyance will benefit them and secure their future. Minister will address concerns of farmers.
