There has been a flurry of celebrity weddings in Bollywood recently, from Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic to Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad. Amongst them all, it was Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's nuptials which made headlines. The Bollywood actor and actress married earlier this month at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer in a grand but private ceremony. It was followed by a reception held in Mumbai.
The designer took to Instagram to share unseen photos of the couple where the bride's love for emeralds was apparent. In his caption, he said, "The STUNNERS @kiaraaliaadvani @sidmalhotra in timeless class black and white at their wedding celebration party with friends in mumbai .. while he shimmers in self black sparkle, she shimmers with exquisite diamonds and emeralds". Kiara's flowing black velvet gown came with a white long sleeve bodice and was accented with a 5-strand necklace set with sparkling diamonds and chunky emeralds across her neckline. It was the perfect play to add colour to her otherwise achromatic outfit.

The Bollywood couple was dressed by Manish Malhotra for all of their wedding functions, including their wedding ceremony in Rajasthan. Then too, Kiara's emerald obsession was pretty darn real. Both stuck to pastel shades with Sidharth in beige and gold and Kiara in pink. Manish captioned their photo, saying, "Our gorgeous bride @kiaraaliaadvani looking ethereal in our exclusive bridal set in natural diamonds and Zambian emeralds from the Manish Malhotra High Diamond jewellery collection. @sidmalhotra exuding classic regalia in our Maharaja necklace by Manish Malhotra Uncut Jewellery by Raniwala 1881." Her wedding lehenga was paired with a multi-strand diamond and emerald choker that sat high on her neckline. It featured intricate diamond patterns surrounding rectangular emeralds. Kiara's diamond and emerald earrings also followed the same pattern and she complete her bridal jewellery with a diamond maang tikka draped over her head.
