London-based yoga enthusiast Jamie Meek had concluded his Gujarat visit and was reminiscing his "mind-blowing" memories in India, as he prepared to return home.
In a post on Instagram on Wednesday night, he recalled the "magical experience" that he shared with his partner, Fiongal Greenlaw-Meek, and rued that it was their "last night in India".
On Thursday morning, Jamie posted another video minutes before he boarded his flight to England from Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. "Goodbye India...," he said.
Air India flight AI 171, which was scheduled to fly to London Gatwick, crashed minutes after it took off at around 1.30pm, with 242 passengers onboard. Sources said there were no survivors although an official confirmation is awaited.
In a couple of Instagram stories on Wednesday, Jamie provided a glimpse into The House of MG - a heritage hotel - in Ahmedabad. "This hotel", he wrote.

According to the Instagram profile, Jamie is the director of The Wellness Foundry - a centre for tarot and spiritual wellness.
In another video story, Fiongal said: "So it's our last night in India. Uh and we've had a magical experience really. It's been, yeah, there's been some quiet mind blowing... mind blowing things have happened... we are going to put this all together and create a vlog. I think it's my first ever vlog that makes me feel a bit but we're going to make a vlog about the whole trip. Yeah and share it."
Jamie said getting a taste of the Gujarat thali and "spending the last night" at the hotel "was a perfect way to round up the trip".
"There's been too much... It would be so nice to remember this and share it with everybody because we really have been on quite a journey and then just spent the last night here in this amazing hotel and we've just had the most delicious thali food. It was a perfect way to round up the trip. So yeah excited to share it all with you actually," he said.

Hours later, as the duo arrived at the airport and waited to board, they posted another video of them having the following conversation:
Fiongal: We are at the airport, just boarding. Goodbye India
Jamie: Goodbye. It's a 10-hour flight back to England
Fiongal: What is your biggest takeaway, Jamie?
Jamie: I've done this already
Fiongal: On a different thing
Jamie: What's my biggest takeaway... I don't know
Fiongal: Yeah, fascinating, great. Thanks for your contribution (laughs). My biggest takeaway is don't lose patience with your partner.
Jamie: You're already starting to. You've already while we're having chai at the airport. You can see you've learnt nothing.
Fiongal: Going back happily, happily, happily calm
